Karlin Arch. Studio

PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC

The architecture studio we’ve created in Karlin, Prague, is a space that speaks directly to the identity of the neighborhood—one that is rapidly evolving, blending old industrial roots with new creative energy. For me, designing this space was an opportunity to contribute to Karlin’s transformation, while also creating an environment that embodies our values as architects: creativity, collaboration, and a deep respect for the built environment.

The space is open and airy, with large windows that let in an abundance of natural light. Being in a busy urban area, we wanted to create a sense of serenity and openness inside. By strategically placing glass walls and using light, natural materials like wood and concrete, we created a sense of flow, blurring the boundaries between spaces and encouraging interaction. There’s a sense of transparency throughout the studio—physically and conceptually.
